When an issue date is input the permit's status is automatically updated to active. All permits issue a warning 30 days prior to the expiration date when they are opened. A
tickle report is also provided which lists all expiring permits based on user
input as to the type of permit and days till expiration.
Each permit type has particular required fields. The application prompts the user to input information to those required fields prior to saving or exiting the permit dialog.
Permits may be deleted if required. The status of the permit must be "Denied" to enable the "Delete" command. The application prompts the user to prevent an accidental or inadvertent deletion of a permit.
